企业通常以新闻稿（Press Release）的形式来达成提高企业品牌，提升产品形象，告知企业相关重要消息，引导投资者决策，冲淡负面消息等用途。作为全球IFEC行业内的3家领先竞争者，我们想通过分析、总结近半年内（2015/11/1至2016/4/28）松下航电（PAC）、全球鹰（GEE）以及Gogo在其各自官方网站上所发布的相关新闻内容 [1] ，既回顾一下3家企业这半年内的重要历程，也同时揣摩一下其各自的发展方向。
新闻稿数量比较
新闻稿内容分类：
在上表中，“内容”表示一切与提供内容相关的硬件、软件、多媒体、游戏、相关服务和授权等；“连接”表示一切为支持地空连接相关的硬件（如机载天线）、软件，以及基于地空互联提供服务的硬件（如EFB）、软件、多媒体（如Live TV）、相关服务和授权等。
* 列为“其他”部分的内容包含同其他分类并无直接关联的内容：其中对于Gogo，有3篇涉及行业分析、1篇涉及法律纠纷的内容；对于PAC，有4篇涉及其独有的天气解决方案(Weather Solutions)，以及1篇涉及机舱服务系统的内容。
以下图片所展现的为一个更加直观的分类分布：
简单看来，在各家的内容分布上体现出其主营业务的宣传重心。PAC同Gogo在内容相关服务上的宣传较弱，而着力与连接与网络布局的部分，其中Gogo由于连接种类的多样性（ATG/2Ku）而显现出涉及连接的新闻稿数量较多（17篇）。GEE在内容与连接上的宣传并无明显的侧重，但相比另外2家，更加强调内容部分。同时由于GEE与Gogo为纳斯达克上市公司，Gogo选择在新闻稿中定期更新有关向美国证监会SEC提交文件的部分。
从连接技术的选择以及服务领域的分类来看(详见以下2个表格)，3家宣传的内容与各自的实际情况基本相符，同时也能够看出一些面向未来的发展趋势。PAC专注于Ku以及商用客机，为了能够充分利用其GCS全球卫星网络的优势，目前有开始尝试公务机领域以及船载领域的趋势（分别各有1篇新闻稿涉及这两个领域）；GEE也同样展现出对公务机领域提供连接以及内容服务的发展趋势，并持续在其原有的商用客机以及船载领域发力，同时也表现出同时支持Ku与Ka两种技术的发展趋势；Gogo涉及的服务领域与连接方式一直保持原有的多样性，值得注意的是2Ku的出现频率自2016年以来格外突出。
特别注意到PAC同Gogo在卫星领域网络上的布局也同也体现在其各自新闻稿的宣传中。双方分别发布了租用多颗Ku HTS卫星的相关内容。目前在运营当中重点覆盖北美的Ku HTS卫星只有Intelsat 29e，未来计划发射的Ku HTS卫星还包括欧洲SES公司的SES-14和SES-15。这两颗计划当中的卫星目前已经基本被PAC和Gogo锁定，这可能直接导致留给GEE在北美区的Ku HTS卫星资源非常紧张，因此我们猜测这与GEE转向Ka技术具有一定关系。以下表格依照时间顺序排列，展现的是3家有关卫星技术、资源以及设备选择的一系列新闻稿件，从中可以略微嗅出端倪：
如下表所示，3家公司也同时在这半年的时间内，分别均在中国市场有所建树。其中GEE和Gogo在航空公司的合作上有所重叠；PAC同另外两家不同，并非上市公司，因此感觉在宣传上有些保留，所涉及的航空公司并非其全部的进展：
小结：
虽然仅仅回顾这3家官方网站上近6个月的新闻宣传内容远远谈不上全面，但是我们依然可以看出各方宣传力量同公司定位以及发展方向的一致：
1. PAC注重卫星网络的建设和布局，在已有GCS全球网络基础上，持续加强Ku HTS资源，以及未来波束更加密集的Ku XTS资源；并且开展GCS网络资源的纵向应用，开始涉猎公务机领域 （选用AeroSat天线）以及船舶领域（选用Kymeta的平板天线）。
2. GEE同样开始进驻公务机领域；在内容和连接两个市场同时发力，并在连接技术上开始为选用Ka资源布局。
3. Gogo依旧保持其连接方式以及服务领域的多样性，并不断巩固其公务机上的优势；从今年开始逐渐落实2Ku技术的实施，同时也开始着手全球卫星网络建设。
